It takes a lot for someone to admit they may have a problem with alcohol or other drugs, but it’s the first step to overcoming it. Talking to a friend, teacher, family member, or school counsellor can provide a helping hand and emotional support. It can be difficult to seek help but in most cases the sooner you reach out for support, the better. Listed below are a number of services available to young people with alcohol or other drug related issues or for those wanting general information.

It will automatically direct you to the Alcohol and Drug Information Service in your state or territory. These local alcohol and other drug telephone services offer support, information, counselling, and referral to services.
