It takes a lot for someone to admit they may have a problem with drugs, but it’s the first step to overcoming it. Talking to a friend, teacher, family member, or school counsellor can provide a helping hand and emotional support. It can be difficult to seek help but in most cases the sooner you reach out for support, the better. Listed below are a number of services available to young people with drug related issues or for those wanting general information.

This website provides a directory of places in all states and territories in Australia, where it is possible to seek information and services to assist with alcohol and other drug related issues.
Drug Info provides information about alcohol and other drugs. They also provide a SMS service where you can text the name of a drug to the number below and receive a reply listing a number of the drug’s effects and links to find further information.
