In this edition, we’ve included practical resources for parents such as a glossary of common drug and alcohol slang, an up-to-date factsheet covering Australia's vaping laws, and videos to help you to navigate challenging conversations with your teen around their alcohol or drug use.

Did you know that Saturday 31st May is
World No Tobacco DayThis year's campaign aims to reveal the strategies used by tobacco and nicotine industries to make their products enticing, particularly to young people.

These tactics can encourage young people to try nicotine products, increasing their risk of dependence and long-term health effects. To learn more about the effects, check out our factsheets on "Tobacco & Cigarettes" and "E-cigarettes & Vaping".
